What to do if you do not know what to do...

But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.

(Matthew 6:33-34 KJV)

The verses above helped me much over some very hard days. I think they might be a blessing for you, too. If you think you cannot stand it anymore, just stand one day after the other and trust the Lord every day anew.

It also helps if you want to get rid of an addiction like smoking, by the way. Stop it one day, and get new power to refrain from it the next day... You do not have to refrain from nicotine forever, just for one day, and another single day, and another single day... If you have the strength to do it for a single day, you also have the strength to do it for another single day. I hope that this might help someone...

Dealing with Big Problems

It is dangerous when things around us go fine and we start to become arrogant, thinking we could do without God. It is when we are in pain and trouble that we need Him most, and we suddenly recognise how much daily life has taken God and us apart. I often find myself trying to solve my problems on my own, without asking Him. It is a shame! When I remember the big chance there is in letting go and letting God, things become suddenly way easier, and very often doors one did not even think of are opened to everything is solved. God helps whith big and small problems.

If events like illness, the death of a beloved one, unemployment and many other things hit us, it is surely terrible, but it also takes us out of our routine, and we can think about it and come to new decisions about what to do with our lives. We often would not do the same if we were not forced by events like I mentioned above. They surely make us see how unimportant certain other things are. Many things do not matter at all and are just distractions from the really important ones. These distractions come from the devil. I often find myself distracted like this. I dedicated my life to the Lord, and so the main focus should not be on myself but on Jesus, and it should be on my neighbor and preaching the Gospel and pointing to the Biblical truth.

Please pray for me, too, and that the Lord has mercy every day anew, and keep His patience with me.
Amen.

Only God is Good

Only God is good. People who think they are good are dreamers and bare of any reality. Christianity makes the darkness appear for what it is, namely "dark and hateful". If you see something dark and hateful in Christianity, it might be your own darkness and hatefulness. Christians belief in God's goodness, not in their own. It's not my fault that it appears dark and hateful to some who do not know the Lord-- it surely doesn't to me who has the hope in the Living God. I really wouldn't know what I would do without Him. I guess I couldn't stand one more day...

The Parable of the Weeds - (Matthew 13:24-30 KJV)

"Another parable put he forth unto them, saying, The kingdom of heaven is likened unto a man which sowed good seed in his field: But while men slept, his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat, and went his way. But when the blade was sprung up, and brought forth fruit, then appeared the tares also. So the servants of the householder came and said unto him, Sir, didst not thou sow good seed in thy field? from whence then hath it tares? He said unto them, An enemy hath done this."
This is DISCERNMENT, and nowhere is it said that Christians should not discern between "wheat and weeds".

However...

"He said unto them, An enemy hath done this. The servants said unto him, Wilt thou then that we go and gather them up? But he said, Nay;
We are not to *pull the weed out*.

"lest while ye gather up the tares, ye root up also the wheat with them."

Jesus did not say what would happen if you gave the tares special attention and care. He did not say the tares would ever become wheat. Tares are tares, and there is no way to become weed for tares.

"Let both grow together until the harvest: and in the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, Gather ye together first the tares, and bind them in bundles to burn them: but gather the wheat into my barn."
There will be a harvest, and the LOST will be BURNED - but *not* by the Christians. There will be a final Judgement, and if Christians do not warn the LOST, THEY WILL BURN! So that is why Christians often warn others, not because they feel superior, but they know what will happen.

Now who is caring, the one who allows the LOST to go to hell, or those who WARN?

Preach the Gospel of Peace

How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher? And how shall they preach, except they be sent? as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things! Romans 10:14-15 - KJV

Meet me There

On the happy, golden shore,
Where the faithful part no more,
When the storms of life are over, meet me there;
Where the night dissolves away
Into pure and perfect day,
I am going home to stay, meet me there.

Refrain
Meet me there, meet me there,
(Meet me there, meet me there)
Where the tree of life is blooming, meet me there;
When the storms of life are o'er,
On the happy golden shore,
Where the faithful part no more, meet me there.

Here our fondest hopes are vain,
Dearest links are rent in twain,
But in Heav'n no throb of pain, meet me there;
By the river sparkling bright
In the city of delight,
Where our faith is lost in sight, meet me there.

How to teach the Beloved Brothers and Sisters

This is what Paul said about how to teach brothers and sisters:

"I charge thee therefore before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, who shall judge the quick and the dead at his appearing and his kingdom; Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine. For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables. But watch thou in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, make full proof of thy ministry." (2 Timothy 4:1-5 KJV)

And Jude said, for example:

"And Enoch also, the seventh from Adam, prophesied of these, saying, Behold, the Lord cometh with ten thousands of his saints, To execute judgment upon all, and to convince all that are ungodly among them of all their ungodly deeds which they have ungodly committed, and of all their hard speeches which ungodly sinners have spoken against him. These are murmurers, complainers, walking after their own lusts; and their mouth speaketh great swelling words, having men's persons in admiration because of advantage. But, beloved, remember ye the words which were spoken before of the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ; How that theytold you there should be mockers in the last time, who should walk after their own ungodly lusts. These be they who separate themselves, sensual, having not the Spirit. But ye, beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost, Keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life. And of some have compassion, making a difference: And others save
with fear, pulling them out of the fire; hating even the garment spotted by the flesh." (Jude 1:14-23 KJV)

A Proverb says:

"The ear that heareth the reproof of life abideth among the wise. He that refuseth instruction despiseth his own soul: but he that heareth reproof getteth understanding. The fear of the LORD is the instruction of wisdom; and before honour is humility." (Proverbs 15:31-33 KJV)

Jesus did not preach to heretics

Jesus did not preach to heretics, but to those with ears for His Words. He dined with sinners, that means those who were generally not accepted in the ancient society then, but who wanted to have Jesus' fellowship. Nowhere does the Bible say He dined with those who rejected Him. In fact, Jeusus Himself warned:

"He that is not with me is against me; and he that gathereth not with me scattereth abroad. Wherefore I say unto you, All manner of sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven unto men: but the blasphemy against the Holy Ghost shall not be forgiven unto men." (Matthew 12:30-31 KJV)

What did the Apostle Peter understand in Acts 10?

The Apostle Peter understood that the Gospel was not reserved for the Jews only, but could be preached to the gentiles in Acts 10:

Then Peter opened his mouth, and said, Of a truth I perceive that God is no respecter of persons: But in every nation he that feareth him, and worketh righteousness, is accepted with him. (Acts 10:34-35 KJV)

So everybody can be accepted by God.

You do not have to be "good" for that first. You can come as you are, for we are all sinners and not perfect yet.

"GROWING DEEPER" WILL SOON BE COMPLETELY RESTORED!

"GROWING DEEPER" (link below) WILL SOON BE COMPLETELY RESTORED!

It is not completely finished yet, but you can have a look there at the
new outfit already if you please.

The Israel part "Growing Deeper Bridge" is a website on its own, but
attached there. It will take a little time until I have re-styled the
pages. I guess I will use the same outfit as in Growing Deeper...

I have also made some blogs you might probably like. I will use the
results of this newsgroup here on all of them, just as the Spirit leads
me.

Please come all to read there. You can never know if you might
understand what I am writing there one day, probably in the most hidden
corner of it - so you should check it regularly.

Who knows what I will write about you there? You know what a gossip I
am, so you might find your names there... somewhere, probably, of
course hidden somewhere on a page which the search function cannot find.
But that is not sure yet. :-)

I hope to see you there... You can also post on my moderated blogs or on
my moderated Google group (if you behave). :-)

"GROWING DEEPER" (link below) is five years old now - if that is not a
reason to celebrate and praise the Lord!

So let us do it together... any proposals for it?

Cheap Grace

God knows the truth, that is what I know.

People have no problem to hurt others on a regular basis, and then come
out and
claim forgiveness, but forget to repent. Have you ever heard of cheap
grace? That is exactly
what some are teaching - and it is FALSE.

God's Word:

Take heed to yourselves: If thy brother trespass against thee, rebuke
him; and if he repent, forgive him. And if he trespass against thee
seven times in a day, and seven times in a day turn again to thee,
saying, I repent; thou shalt forgive him.
(Luke 17:3-4 KJV)

"And what has become of forgiveness"? People often still forget the
repentance part of it... Cheap grace will not take anyone to Heaven,
however.

Cheap grace is what I have seen in so many places... it is where the
murderer has more rights than the victim, and where good and evil are
turned upside down.

They claim cheap grace for themselves all the time, while they deny
forgiveness for others. They have invented a well-feel gospel that has
nothing to do with God's will. And they have started to call good evil
and evil good.

Of course Christians are to forgive - but there is also the part of
repentance - and that is what so many love to forget. The result is a
funny fake gospel that is turned upside down, where blasphemers are
praised like heroes. No, thank you!

It is the same how they deal with God. They make Him look like an old
grand-pa with a long beard looking like Santa Claus in the commercials,
someone too senile to discern good and evil, and loving the most evil
bastard. No, that is NOT who God is.

He is a Living God, acting here and everywhere, being just and faithful,
true, merciful and caring.

Praise be to His holy name.

Amen.

Sex and Christianity

Gay and lesbian sex and Christianity

I have seen it very often that sex is a hot topic in Christian discussion groups. Many people believe that sex should not be talked about, but later complain that sex was not talked about. Later people will find out that they should have talked about sex much more, especially with other Christians, because God did not leave the topic sex out at all, in fact, He started it right in Paradise when He made Eve from Adam's rip to give him a help and someone to love.

It is interesting, by the way, that some people still believe they will be flying around like ghosts in Heaven one day... but considering the fact that He made Adam and Eve two real beings with a real body might give us a hint that we will not be bodiless in Heaven at all. God can (what Obama can't). However, the question about a sex life did not occur in Paradise at all. God made Adam and Eve (not Adam and Steve) for one purpose, that they had someone to love. So sex is something that goes along with love. We are made for that.

With regard to sex and our sex lives we should regard what God's will is. Homosexuals, gays and lesbians - and whatever they are called - existed in Biblical times, or Paul would not have mentioned them in Romans 1, for example. But we should not be proud if we have a heterosexual life. There is nobody who is without any sin, and much of it is under the tip of the iceberg. All we heteros, homosexuals and lesbians can do is confess it and repent of it, because sin is always sin against God. Sin in the darkness is no better sin than sin in the open.

We Christians are not to judge other Christians, which means we are not to condemn them to hell for their sins, sexual sins included. But we are to stick with the truth, and not give in to the gay lobby who would like to abolish the holy Bible as hate literature, just because they do notlike God's ideas about their sinful sex lives.

God made us for love. How much quality would love have if gays and lesbians gave up their sex life for their partner and repented - to save themselves and their partner from hell fire? The Lord Jesus Christ gave His life for our sins - so why can we not give something from ourselves that takes more efforts than paying 10 dollars to a care organisation?

Please do not misunderstand me - I am not talking about your sex life. I really do not care about your sex life, or what a kind of sex life you have and with whom. I simply regard myself a messenger for the Christians if I am asked what the Bible says about gay and lesbian love. Why not start walking your life - your sexual life - with God?

God Bless you all!

And again: Jesus is God!

When Christians say they believe Jesus is God, does that mean to believe that the Son is the same person as the Father, or that the Trinity is just a made up doctrine?

I think the problem lies in the restriction of the human mind.

Let us regard some other things for a while... Take a dot, and move it straight on, leaving a trace of itself at every spot where it was - you will get a line. Now move this line in a right angle (same length) and leave the trace of itself - you will get a square (something that is two-dimensional). Then pile the square up in a right angle (same length) again and leave a trace of itself - and you will get a cube...

Now take the cube and move it in a right angle (same length) and leave a trace of itself ... Well, if you could follow, you have just entered the fourth dimension! Congratulation!

I do not know if there is such a fourth dimension, because nobody has ever been there or seen it, but the model above shows that it is very well possible, maybe there is even a good chance for it to exist. If there are three-dimensional things, why should there not be four dimensional things? Or even more-dimensional ones? Maybe there is even a dimension that sums up all the other dimensions...

That was a walk into geometry and our imagination - now let us compare the Spiritual world with it. We humans are three dimensional beings - as we have a body, a soul and we are also spiritual beings. Such a being is a superior-dimensional unit of the material three-dimensional room - in fact, it is like comparing addition of numbers with the multiplication that is a higher level of the addition. So we have three dimensions that make us humans, one of which includes the three dimensions of materia, which is the body part. So I might believe that our soul and our spirit have several dimensions as well. But I want to come back to the topic right away...

God.

If we can see there is a rule to all being - namely to be whatever-number-dimensional, God is the being who is above that all, so he can take any shape, any dimension, and any form above all dimensions. Restricting God to three persons only would be blasphemy. God is not three - He is much, much more than we could ever think of. So the "Trinity" does not really describe Him. We cannot describe Him -and that is why He told the Israelites that He is the "I am who I am". He is the God without a name like Paul told the people in Athens later on, because a name could never be enough to describe Him.

The Trinity.

Why should I want to describe God here if there is no use in that?

The Christian God is described as the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit - three persons in ONE unit that we call "God". Thinking of the cube this makes some more sense now - but there is still this restriction. While God is not restricted, it is our human brain that is. We humans cannot understand God, and He knows:

> <> ><> ><> ><> ><> ><> ><> ><> ><> ><> ><> ><> ><> ><> ><>
"For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways,
says Yahweh. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my
ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts." (Isaiah
55:8-9 WEB)
<>< <>< <>< <>< <>< <>< <>< <>< <>< <>< <>< <>< <>< <>< <><

God wants to have a relationship to us people, but how so if we did not know Him? You cannot have a relationship to someone whom you do not know. So God reveals Himself to us - and does so in the Son:

> <> ><> ><> ><> ><> ><> ><> ><> ><> ><> ><> ><> ><> ><> ><>
Jesus said to him, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes
to the Father, except through me. If you had known me, you would have
known my Father also. From now on, you know him, and have seen him."
Philip said to him, "Lord, show us the Father, and that will be enough
for us." Jesus said to him, "Have I been with you such a long time, and
do you not know me, Philip? He who has seen me has seen the Father. How
do you say, 'Show us the Father?' Don't you believe that I am in the
Father, and the Father in me? The words that I tell you, I speak not
from myself; but the Father who lives in me does his works. (John
14:6-10 WEB)
<>< <>< <>< <>< <>< <>< <>< <>< <>< <>< <>< <>< <>< <>< <><

Now we are blessed to have God close to us, close like a human being that He was, giving His life away for us. But as the Son was crucified, we know how much the Father in Heaven must have suffered for our sake, watching His Son dying. It is not who God is - it is what He is for us, and what He revealed to us. He reveals these three persons to us Christians, so we can live with Him on this earth and get to know those parts of Him that He wants us to know about.

> <> ><> ><> ><> ><> ><> ><> ><> ><> ><> ><> ><> ><> ><> ><>
"That which was from the beginning, that which we have heard, that which
we have seen with our eyes, that which we saw, and our hands touched,
concerning the Word of life (and the life was revealed, and we have
seen, and testify, and declare to you the life, the eternal life, which
was with the Father, and was revealed to us); that which we have seen
and heard we declare to you, that you also may have fellowship with us.
Yes, and our fellowship is with the Father, and with his Son, Jesus
Christ. And we write these things to you, that our joy may be
fulfilled." (1 John 1:1-4 WEB)
<>< <>< <>< <>< <>< <>< <>< <>< <>< <>< <>< <>< <>< <>< <><

So far I have nothing left but to believe in God who revealed Himself to me as a God in three persons - the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. But I know that God will reveal Himself completely to us later:

A Prayer to the Lord Jesus Christ

Jesus, my Lord, I love you, and you are in my heart forever.
Jesus, my Lord, I am so glad that you are there and alive, not a god far away in an imaginative heaven somewhere unreachable for me.
You are real, Lord Jesus. You help me every day. I have no idea what I would do without you. You are my best friend.
I thank you for everything you have done for me, and I know it cost your life, but you did not mind and shed your precious blood for me and anyone who has ears to listen to wash our sins away.

Praised be your holy name Jesus Christ, forever and ever.
Who is called out?

People who are called out by God know about it. You will never be like before, without the Lord, having one aim: to become like Jesus Christ Himself, and to set other hearts on fire for this great Redeemer. Knowing you belong to God is just like knowing one's name, or knowing that the sun will rise in the east. That is what faith really means.

Fear not, for I have redeemed you;
I have called you by your name; you are Mine.
(Isaiah 43; 1 / KJV)

That is what God will let you know... You are elected, because God has redeemed you. The Lord knows your name (!), He calls you out as an individual.

The moment you are born again by the Holy Spirit is the moment you know you are saved, through your faith by grace.

Jesus died for everybody, that means, all have the same chance of being elected. God loves all the people the same and wants them all to come to the truth of the Gospel news, but not everyone listens to the voice of the Lord. Just imagine, you are so precious to Jesus Christ that He died for your sins! The Father in His love for you gave His Son Jesus Christ away, but it was also the Father's love that resurrected Him again, so all who believe in the Son Jesus Christ can spend their eternal life together with Him in Heaven. The Bible says:
"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved." (John 3:16-17 KJV)

God also says to the ones whom He has redeemed:

"Beloved, if God so loved us, we ought also to love one another. No man hath seen God at any time. If we love one another, God dwelleth in us, and his love is perfected in us. Hereby know we that we dwell in him, and he in us, because he hath given us of his Spirit." (1 John 4:11-13 KJV)

You are precious to me, so precious that I will tell you the truth, no matter what. So it is my job to tell the Gospel, so you can all have a chance to be called out as well. Please know that the Lord is waiting for your decision, because He created us with a free will which He will resepect.

It is your decision. You can come to the Lord the way you are, you do not have to be good already. Please read the story...
"He said, "A certain man had two sons. The younger of them said to his father, 'Father, give me my share of your property.' He divided his livelihood between them. Not many days after, the younger son gathered all of this together and traveled into a far country. There he wasted his property with riotous living.
When he had spent all of it, there arose a severe famine in that country, and he began to be in need. He went and joined himself to one of the citizens of that country, and he sent him into his fields to feed pigs. He wanted to fill his belly with the husks that the pigs ate, but no one gave him any. But when he came to himself he said, 'How many hired servants of my father's have bread enough to spare, and I'm dying with hunger! I will get up and go to my father, and will tell him, "Father, I have sinned against heaven, and in your sight. I am no more worthy to be called your son. Make me as one of your hired servants."'

"He arose, and came to his father. But while he was still far off, his father saw him, and was moved with compassion, and ran, and fell on his neck, and kissed him. The son said to him, 'Father, I have sinned against heaven, and in your sight. I am no longer worthy to be called your son.' "
But the father said to his servants, 'Bring out the best robe, and put it on him. Put a ring on his hand, and shoes on his feet. Bring the fattened calf, kill it, and let us eat, and celebrate; for this, my son, was dead, and is alive again. He was lost, and is found.'

They began to celebrate. "Now his elder son was in the field. As he came near to the house, he heard music and dancing. He called one of the servants to him, and asked what was going on. He said to him, 'Your brother has come, and your father has killed the fattened calf, because he has received him back safe and healthy.' But he was angry, and would not go in. Therefore his father came out, and begged him. But he answered his father, 'Behold, these many years I have served you, and I never disobeyed a commandment of yours, but you never gave me a goat, that I might celebrate with my friends. But when this, your son, came, who has devoured your living with prostitutes, you killed the fattened calf for him.' "He said to him, 'Son, you are always with me, and all that is mine is yours. But it was appropriate to celebrate and be glad, for this, your brother, was dead, and is alive again. He was lost, and is found.'"
(Luke 15:11-32 WEB)

My recommendation for you comes right from the Bible, God's Word:

"I tell you, keep asking, and it will be given you.
Keep seeking, and you will find.
Keep knocking, and it will be opened to you.
For everyone who asks receives. He who seeks finds.
To him who knocks it will be opened.
(Luke 11:9-10 WEB)

God Bless You,

Don't be afraid, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by your name, you are mine. Isaiah 43: 1 (WEB)

It was rather clear to me that God had to be somewhere. I lost him out of sight, however, when I met enough people who did not believe in God and offered other things that looked more interesting at first sight. Curious as I was I tried out a lot. Feeling the emptiness without God, I went around looking for Him again - and I found Him exactly there where He had always been. Or better: He found me...

I met Jesus in the internet some years ago, and I gave him my life in March 2000. I hope He will go on changing me until I am the way my Heavenly Father wants me to be. I am surely very far from this. But in his grace God has accepted me as one of his Children nevertheless, because I put all my faith into his Son who died for me and my sins and was the first to overcome death. Now I can live forever, and all who call upon His name as well.

I like music, of course, Christian music, Vangelis, classical music, rock music (Oldies), Peter Maffay, music from Israel and more.

We have a cat that I love very much, I had a dog in former times, several budgies and a very sweet rabbit. As a child I had a white mouse that went to school with me. A rather educated mouse.

I will soon post my whole story on the blog if you are interested.

I love children very much. They are so sweet and so full of hope.

My favourite book is the Bible. I like the Gospel of John most, Genesis and Revelation. Oh, and the Corinthians, and Romans, Ecclesiastes, Job, ha, I almost forgot to mention Isaiah. Matthew? Not bad. Mark as well, or Luke. You should read one of the Gospels... Well, but what about the Proverbs? They are always good to have a look at - and the beautiful Psalms. I think Ruth is a beautiful love story, and Esther is a good example of what standing up for others in the eyes of God looks like. Hmmm... there is also much comfort in the story of Joseph and his brothers (starting in Genesis 37). What you can learn there? Hey, become cool, let go, let God. Whatever it is, give it to Him. He will guide you, and all will be well in the end.

My favourite Bible scripture is 1. Cor. 13, of course, but this one, too:

Don't be afraid, for I have redeemed you;
I have called you by your name,
you are mine.
Isaiah 43: 1 (WEB)

I love it, because it is true, as the whole Bible is God's word.

I am looking for the time when this will have come true:

I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth have passed away, and the sea is no more. I saw the holy city, New Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, made ready like a bride adorned for her husband. I heard a loud voice out of heaven saying, "Behold, God's dwelling is with people, and he will dwell with them, and they will be his people, and God himself will be with them as their God. He will wipe away from them every tear from their eyes. Death will be no more; neither will there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain, any more. The first things have passed away." He who sits on the throne said, "Behold, I am making all things new." He said, "Write, for these words of God are faithful and true." He said to me, "It is done! I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End. I will give freely to him who is thirsty from the spring of the water of life. He who overcomes, I will give him these things. I will be his God, and he will be my son. (Revelation 21:1-7 WEB)

Love to all of you,

About Jesus Christ and this Blog...

The other disciples therefore said to him, "We have seen the Lord!" But he said to them, "Unless I see in his hands the print of the nails, and put my hand into his side, I will not believe." After eight days again his disciples were inside, and Thomas was with them. Jesus came, the doors being locked, and stood in the midst, and said, "Peace be to you." Then he said to Thomas, "Reach here your finger, and see my hands. Reach here your hand, and put it into my side. Don't be unbelieving, but believing." Thomas answered him, "My Lord and my God!" Jesus said to him, "Because you have seen me, you have believed. Blessed are those who have not seen, and have believed." (John 20:25-29 WEB)

Thomas did not believe the others when they told Him they had seen Jesus. They had seen Him die on the cross, and being buried in the sepulcher. That is how it was with me, too. I did not believe in Jesus Christ, and in the story of His resurrection. It was too crazy to believe. Also, how could a simple man, a carpenter, be God? No, I could not believe it!

But then something happened that opened my eyes... I was reading the Bible to prove someone and idiot for believing in it. But I had not reckoned with the Lord. I was reading Genesis... and suddenly I was aware that He spoke directly to ME! He told me that everything I was reading was true... He was there, with me, and I could suddenly see the Bible for what it was - His love letter to me, personally! It filled me with joy, and my eyes with tears. How was it possible that I had ignored God over such a long time in my life? I was 44 years old, and had been looking for Him everywhere - but not there! He, however, found me!

Later when I was 45 I surrendered my life to Him. Now, eight years later, I have not regretted this at any time, and thinking of it still fills me with joy and my eyes with tears.

God is so good! Jesus Christ, he is just wonderful! Did you know what He did for me? He died for me on the cross in my place, so I can live with Him in Heaven for eternity. That is sure for me. my concern is for the people who have not been touched by His love yet, and who will miss being aboard of this wonderful prospective!

So I created this blog.

The topics will deal with God and whatever questions may arise.
Everyone (but no trouble makers, please) is welcome here!
Sit down, have a coffee or tea with us, relax, have fun and be aware of the presence of the Living God here.

Christian love,
