The night before His crucifixion, the Lord had a last Supper with the Disciples, one of whom was to betray Him for 30 silver dollars. The Lord's Supper was a yearly feast celebrated by the Jews before Passover, a memorial of their leaving Egypt by the help of the Lord. A blameless lamb was to be killed to mark the house of God's Elect with blood at the door, so the Angel of the Lord would save their firstborn.
"And the blood shall be to you for a token upon the houses where ye are: and when I see the blood, I will pass over you, and the plague shall not be upon you to destroy you, when I smite the land of Egypt." - Exodus 12:13
This lamb was a sign pointing to the Lamb of God, to Jesus, now having His day before He was crucified under Pilate.

Now when the even was come, he sat down with the twelve. And as they did eat, he said, Verily I say unto you, that one of you shall betray me. And they were exceeding sorrowful, and began every one of them to say unto him, Lord, is it I? And he answered and said, He that dippeth his hand with me in the dish, the same shall betray me. The Son of man goeth as it is written of him: but woe unto that man by whom the Son of man is betrayed! it had been good for that man if he had not been born. Then Judas, which betrayed him, answered and said, Master, is it I? He said unto him, Thou hast said.
And as they were eating, Jesus took bread, and blessed it, and brake it, and gave it to the disciples, and said, Take, eat; this is my body. And he took the cup, and gave thanks, and gave it to them, saying, Drink ye all of it; For this is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins. But I say unto you, I will not drink henceforth of this fruit of the vine, until that day when I drink it new with you in my Father's kingdom.
And when they had sung an hymn, they went out into the mount of Olives.
Matthew 26:20-30 KJV

Jesus Christ, Fully Man and Fully God

Jesus called Himself "Son of God", because He was fully man and fully God. The Apostle John for example, left no doubt about who Jesus is.
Can a man forgive sins? Why was Jesus crucified? What was He accused of?
If I don't do the works of my Father, don't believe me. But if I do them, though you don't believe me, believe the works; that you may know and believe that the Father is in me, and I in the Father." (John
10:37-38 WEB)
Could it be any clearer when Jesus said the following:
I and the Father are one." (John 10:30)
Now go to the beginning of the Gospel of John, and you can find:
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made through him. Without him was not anything made that has been made. (John 1:1-3 WEB)
The Word WAS God.
The Word was the Creator God:
He was in the world, and the world was made through him, and the world didn't recognize him. (John 1:10 WEB)
Who was the Word?
He came to his own, and those who were his own didn't receive him. (John 1:11 WEB)
Self-speaking, isn't it?
There you go - we saw the glory of the "Word" who was God, the Creator: But as many as received him, to them he gave the right to become God's children, to those who believe in his name: who were born not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God. The Word became flesh, and lived among us. We saw his glory, such glory as of the one and only Son of the Father, full of grace and truth. (John 1:12-14 WEB)
The "Word" is clearly the person who was announced by John the Baptist:
John testified about him. He cried out, saying, "This was he of whom I said, 'He who comes after me has surpassed me, for he was before me.'"From his fullness we all received grace upon grace. For the law was given through Moses. Grace and truth came through Jesus Christ. (John
1:15-17 WEB)
Whom die John the Baptist announce?
Put the name here, please:
_ _ _ _ _
And there is also proof in Revelation (in other books as well - to the fullest):
"I am the Alpha and the Omega," says the Lord God, "who is and who was and who is to come, the Almighty." (Revelation 1:8 WEB)
Who says in this verse above that He is the Alpha and the Omega?
God, the Almighty, the Creator, right?
I heard a loud voice out of heaven saying, "Behold, God's dwelling is with people, and he will dwell with them, and they will be his people, and God himself will be with them as their God. He will wipe away from them every tear from their eyes. Death will be no more; neither will there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain, any more. The first things have passed away." He who sits on the throne said, "Behold, I am making all things new." He said, "Write, for these words of God are faithful and true." He said to me, "It is done! I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End. I will give freely to him who is thirsty from the spring of the water of life. He who overcomes, I will give him these things. I will be his God, and he will be my son. (Revelation 21:3-7 WEB)

Who says in these verses above that He is the Alpha and the Omega?
God, the Almighty, the Creator, right?
I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End. Blessed are those who do his commandments, that they may have the right to the tree of life, and may enter in by the gates into the city. Outside are the dogs, the sorcerers, the sexually immoral, the murderers, the idolaters, and everyone who loves and practices falsehood. I, Jesus, have sent my angel to testify these things to you for the assemblies. I am the root and the offspring of David; the Bright and Morning Star." (Revelation 22:13-16 WEB)
Who says in these verses above that He is the Alpha and the Omega?
God, the Almighty, the Creator right?
Can you find in the verses how He calls Himself?
Put the name right here, please:
 _ _ _ _ _
So now please answer:
Is Jesus God?
o yes
o no
Please mark the correct answer. :-)
If you still do not know, read Col 1:12-16, or 1 Timothy 3:16, or 1 John 5:20, or ...
I will end this post by this passage that should open the eyes of all who might doubt about it:
The other disciples therefore said to him, "We have seen the Lord!" But he said to them, "Unless I see in his hands the print of the nails, and put my hand into his side, I will not believe." After eight days again his disciples were inside, and Thomas was with them. Jesus came, the doors being locked, and stood in the midst, and said, "Peace be to you." Then he said to Thomas, "Reach here your finger, and see my hands. Reach here your hand, and put it into my side. Don't be unbelieving, but believing." Thomas answered him, "My Lord and my God!" Jesus said to him, "Because you have seen me, you have believed. Blessed are those who have not seen, and have believed." (John 20:25-29 WEB)

Do Not Listen to False Teachers

Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an holyday, or of the new moon, or of the sabbath days:
Which are a shadow of things to come; but the body is of Christ.
Let no man beguile you of your reward in a voluntary humility and worshipping of angels, intruding into those things which he hath not seen, vainly puffed up by his fleshly mind, And not holding the Head, from which all the body by joints and bands having nourishment ministered, and knit together, increaseth with the increase of God.
Wherefore if ye be dead with Christ from the rudiments of the world, why, as though living in the world, are ye subject to ordinances, (Touch not; taste not; handle not; Which all are to perish with the using;) after the commandments and doctrines of men?
Which things have indeed a shew of wisdom in will worship, and humility, and neglecting of the body; not in any honour to the satisfying of the flesh.

(Colossians 2:16-23 KJV)

Can God be Loved and Feared at the Same Time?

Humans cannot love and fear at the same time. Yet "fear" in the Bible has more the meaning of "awe" than being frightened for Christians. And the rest have a good reason to fear God, because they will all judged one day according to their works, and God Himself said, "There is none who is doing good, not even one." Christians will not be judged like that. They will be judged, too, but they have someone to refer to who paid for all of their sins already: Jesus Christ. He took all the sin of the world upon His shoulders, so we may live forever!

The problem is that the humans separated themselves from God's love by their first sin, and that caused all the fear of God. Yes, it is the fear of death, and sin is always unto death if it is not paid for otherwise. Sin is in the way as a big obstacle between man and God now. The glory of God destroys anything that is not holy, like the like destroys the darkness wherever it is. There can be either light or darkness, but never both, and darkness cannot destroy light, but light wins over the darkness.

We humans have all (even me - lol) sin, which makes us shiver the closer we come to the "light". But one day, when Jesus comes back, we will be changed, made perfect, holy, and then we Christians will not have to "fear" God's presence anymore but live together with Him. That is His promise.
"And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God. And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away. And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new." (Revelation 21:3-5)

We are approaching.... Easter!
No, it is not about all the Easter eggs, or Easter bunnies...
It is because...
Jesus paid for the sins of the world, so we may live!
And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up: That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life.
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.
He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

(John 3:14-18 KJV)

How I found the Jewish Messiah in Israel

Psalm 73 - A Psalm of Asaph - Trust in God

Truly God is good to Israel, even to such as are of a clean heart.
But as for me, my feet were almost gone; my steps had well nigh slipped.

For I was envious at the foolish, when I saw the prosperity of the wicked.
For there are no bands in their death: but their strength is firm.
They are not in trouble as other men; neither are they plagued like other men.
Therefore pride compasseth them about as a chain; violence covereth them as a garment.
Their eyes stand out with fatness: they have more than heart could wish.
They are corrupt, and speak wickedly concerning oppression: they speak loftily.
They set their mouth against the heavens, and their tongue walketh through the earth.

Therefore his people return hither: and waters of a full cup are wrung out to them.
And they say, How doth God know? and is there knowledge in the most High?
Behold, these are the ungodly, who prosper in the world; they increase in riches.

Verily I have cleansed my heart in vain, and washed my hands in innocency.
For all the day long have I been plagued, and chastened every morning.
If I say, I will speak thus; behold, I should offend against the generation of thy children.
When I thought to know this, it was too painful for me;
Until I went into the sanctuary of God; then understood I their end.

Surely thou didst set them in slippery places: thou castedst them down into destruction.
How are they brought into desolation, as in a moment! they are utterly consumed with terrors.

As a dream when one awaketh; so, O Lord, when thou awakest, thou shalt despise their image.

Thus my heart was grieved, and I was pricked in my reins.
So foolish was I, and ignorant: I was as a beast before thee.

Nevertheless I am continually with thee: thou hast holden me by my right hand.
Thou shalt guide me with thy counsel, and afterward receive me to glory.
Whom have I in heaven but thee? and there is none upon earth that I desire beside thee.
My flesh and my heart faileth: but God is the strength of my heart, and my portion for ever.
For, lo, they that are far from thee shall perish: thou hast destroyed all them that go a  whoring from thee.

But it is good for me to draw near to God: I have put my trust in the Lord GOD, that I may  declare all thy works.

Can God be proved, or is God just a matter of faith?

Can God be proved, or is God just a matter of faith? Yes, and no. I once used to believe that, God was a matter of faith only too, and did not believe in Jesus for this reason. But I had to find out that it is God who give us the faith. There is nothing we can do but get it from Him like our first breath. Having faith like this does not leave any room for hundreds of different "religions". I do not just "believe" I am right, no, I *know* that God revealed Himself to me, and then I could see the truth as it is, and not just make my own  truth by putting some trust into a plausible idea. God is not plausible, and my whole life is not. I am standing in awe when I think of all the things that my God has created. I cannot even understand my own existence - how could I ever prove God? But He can do what I cannot do. He will reveal Himself to whom He wants to, and to those with whom He has mercy.

What is a faith worth if it does not come from God? If I make it myself, and pick out what I like?I will tell you now what people should do with such a kind of faith: Put it into a garbage bin. Get the real one. All people have to do is ask for it. Seriously.
