简体中文版 - HOW TO GET TO HEAVEN

HOW TO GET TO HEAVEN

Unrepentant sinners will NOT enter Heaven. But if sinners repent of their sins, they will be forgiven on Judgment Day if they can refer to the blood of Jesus Christ that washed the sins away. That is the way it is.

Sin is still not and will never be acceptable for God. Sin is what separates humans from God. As long as humans fall short of God's glory, they SIN. They are not perfect, for they are not God or Godlike.
In addition, humans still make mistakes. But Christians may accept the correction from God, repent and be forgiven, while unbelievers will NEVER be forgiven.
Doing good will not get anyone into Heaven, either. Faith will get people into Heaven, and God's grace. God and sin will never go together, and humans have to overcome their shortcoming compared with God's glory. Being human, however, does not allow them to overcome that, so only GOD Himself can get them out of the mess they are in. All they can ever do is put all their trust in that. That was why Jesus, God in person, came to earth to die for your sins, and for the sins of the whole world. But there is one thing that is necessary for salvation: FAITH.

It is the FAITH that Jesus' death on the cross as our substitute, the death of the sinless Lamb of God, could do as an atonement to pay for the sins of the whole world, so we can be reconciled with the Father in Heaven who raised His Son into eternal life as He will raise any of His Sons and Daughters into eternal life in Heaven.

Jesus' blood was enough to wash away the sins of the whole mankind, yet not all of them will be saved. Christians will not be judged on Judgment Day, but all the rest will be judged according to their works. Since they cannot refer to their faith in Jesus Christ, they have all fallen short of the glory of God, and will stand before God's Throne with all their sins on their own shoulders. Unfortunately the ONLY punishment for sin is death, so these people will all perish, which is also called "second death". So some will live forever, others will be lost forever.

Make up your mind in which group you want to be.

Christianity is no "course of behavior", but some seem to confuse it with that all the time. But it is much more. It is being reconciled with God, and have a permanent connection to Him. Our God is someone whom we can talk with. He is always with His people. He would love it so much if you joined us. So come on board and let us share His Love, and let us walk in His Light. Life in abundance is waiting for you!

God Bless you!

DEAR FRIENDS, BROTHERS AND SISTERS !

Let us pray as Jesus taught it to the Disciples.
The Lord's Prayer in English...

I thought about all the beautiful Christian hymns in so many foreign languages... Then it came into my mind to use this to make an even stronger bond between us in this world. It is sad, but so many Christians seem to have forgotten what Jesus told them in Matthew 28:18-20
And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen. (KJV)
So I believe we may pretty well pray the Lord's Prayer in Chinese as well...

主祷文

I am a German, and English is not my first language, either. So I hope this website will find the Lord's acceptance. May he gracefully accept it as my offering to Him, thankful for what He has done in my life. I cannot tell you how much I love the Lord, and how little I could even imagine living one day without Him! How can people live without God? Can you tell me? How can they get along with life or death? With pain or sorrow? With hate? Aggression? Illness? Discrimination? Poverty? Debts? Addictions? Losses? Unemployment?

When I was thinking about that, I suddenly understood that we all have this in common, no matter where in this world you are, no matter your color, race, nationality or language. It is because the LORD made us all in His beautiful image, and He can carry us through any affliction to come. He has all the power of this world! He can help us all. He understands you all. He can join us all, make us ONE IN HIM. HE can help us overcome all the shortcomings of this world, and, especially, all the things where we fall short of His glory.

I will dedicate this week to our Chinese Friends, and see where God's Holy Spirit will lead us and bring us all closer to Him and to one another.

This is what Christians all over the world believe - in Chinese:

The Apostle's Creed...

Jesus Christ Paid the Debt for Our Sins in Our Place - Hallelujah!

~~*°*~~ GROWING DEEPER BIBLE STUDY ~~*°*~~

Jesus Christ paid the debt for our sins to the Father on the cross by His blood and His death so we can all live eternally. He was the first to be raised by the Father, and there will be more, for He overcame death for us!

The Bible, God's Word, is giving witness for that:

In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace (Ephesians 1:7 MKJV)

Who gave himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time. (1 Timothy 2:6 KJV)

For even the Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give his life a ransom for many. (Mark 10:45 KJV)

Even as the Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give his life a ransom for many. (Matthew 20:28 KJV)

Therefore as by the offence of one judgment came upon all men to condemnation; even so by the righteousness of one the free gift came upon all men unto justification of life. (Romans 5:18 KJV)

For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's. (1 Corinthians 6:20 KJV)

Ye are bought with a price; be not ye the servants of men. (1 Corinthians 7:23 KJV)

The wages of sin, however, is death:

For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. (Romans 6:23 MKJV)

God made that clear...

1) by kicking people out of Paradise to die
2) by sending a big flood as a punishment so almost all of mankind died
3) by paying for the sins of the world
4) by a coming Judgment when all who cannot pay for their sins will perish

The question of who the price for sin was paid to is not a question that is even raised in the Bible, because it is very clear. It is for the RIGHTEOUSNESS that goes along with the person of GOD.  So the price to be paid is to GOD, and God is no old grandpa in a rocking chair but who will recompense!

Of how much sorer punishment, suppose ye, shall he be thought worthy, who hath trodden under foot the Son of God, and hath counted the blood of the covenant, wherewith he was sanctified, an unholy thing, and hath done despite unto the Spirit of grace? For we know him that hath said, Vengeance belongeth unto me, I will recompense, saith the Lord. And again, The Lord shall judge his people. It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God. (Hebrews 10:29-31 KJV)

Some people falsely claim that debt does not have to be paid... and by that they are making Jesus' death a farce. Do they really claim God says that the whole world is redeemed without any repentance, without faith? They are deadly wrong with their Universalism. The Bible refutes their strange theories.

Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world. And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever. (1 John 2:15-17 KJV)

So what about the others? Sure, He died and paid for all, but not all will be saved...

For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God. (1 Corinthians 1:18 KJV)

Paul has obviously a different opinion than they have and he continues...

For it is written, I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, and will bring to nothing the understanding of the prudent. Where is the wise? where is the scribe? where is the disputer of this world? hath not God made foolish the wisdom of this world? For after that in the wisdom of God the world by wisdom knew not God, it pleased God by the foolishness of preaching to save them that believe. (1 Corinthians 1:19-21 KJV)

Again - God does not save all!

Read the Apostle Peter:

But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction. And many shall follow their pernicious ways; by reason of whom the way of truth shall be evil spoken of. And through covetousness shall they with feigned words make merchandise of you: whose judgment now of a long time lingereth not, and their damnation slumbereth not.

For if God spared not the angels that sinned, but cast them down to hell, and delivered them into chains of darkness, to be reserved unto judgment; And spared not the old world, but saved Noah the eighth person, a preacher of righteousness, bringing in the flood upon the world of the ungodly; And turning the cities of Sodom and Gomorrha into ashes condemned them with an overthrow, making them an ensample unto those that after should live ungodly; And delivered just Lot, vexed with the filthy conversation of the wicked: (For that righteous man dwelling among them, in seeing and hearing, vexed his righteous soul from day to day with their unlawful deeds;) The Lord knoweth how to deliver the godly out of temptations, and to reserve the unjust unto the day of judgment to be punished: But chiefly them that walk after the flesh in the lust of uncleanness, and despise government. Presumptuous are they, selfwilled, they are not afraid to speak evil of dignities. Whereas angels, which are greater in power and might, bring not railing accusation against them before the Lord. But these, as natural brute beasts, made to be taken and destroyed, speak evil of the things that they understand not; and shall utterly perish in their own corruption; And shall receive the reward of unrighteousness, as they that count it pleasure to riot in the day time.

Spots they are and blemishes, sporting themselves with their own deceivings while they feast with you; Having eyes full of adultery, and that cannot cease from sin; beguiling unstable souls: an heart they have exercised with covetous practices; cursed children: Which have forsaken the right way, and are gone astray, following the way of Balaam the son of Bosor, who loved the wages of unrighteousness; But was rebuked for his iniquity: the dumb ass speaking with man's voice forbad the madness of the prophet. These are wells without water, clouds that are carried with a tempest; to whom the mist of darkness is reserved for ever.

For when they speak great swelling words of vanity, they allure through the lusts of the flesh, through much wantonness, those that were clean escaped from them who live in error. While they promise them liberty, they themselves are the servants of corruption: for of whom a man is overcome, of the same is he brought in bondage. For if after they have escaped the pollutions of the world through the knowledge of the Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, they are again entangled therein, and overcome, the latter end is worse with them than the beginning.

For it had been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than, after they have known it, to turn from the holy commandment delivered unto them. But it is happened unto them according to the true proverb, The dog is turned to his own vomit again; and the
sow that was washed to her wallowing in the mire.

(2 Peter 2:1-22 KJV)

Does this sound like all the people are redeemed? Surely not!

Or read John...

That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life. For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved. But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God. (John 3:15-21 KJV)

Does that speak of God's condemning those who do not believe, or not?

Jesus did not even pray for those who did not believe in Him:

These words spake Jesus, and lifted up his eyes to heaven, and said, Father, the hour is come; glorify thy Son, that thy Son also may glorify thee: As thou hast given him power over all flesh, that he should give eternal life to as many as thou hast given him. And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent. I have glorified thee on the earth: I have finished the work which thou gavest me to do. And now, O Father, glorify thou me with thine own self with the glory which I had with thee before the world was. I have manifested thy name unto the men which thou gavest me out of the world: thine they were, and thou gavest them me; and they have kept thy word. Now they have known that all things whatsoever thou hast given me are of thee. For I have given unto them the words which thou gavest me; and they have received them, and have known surely that I came out from thee, and they have believed that thou didst send me. I pray for them: I pray not for the world, but for them which thou hast given me; for they are thine. And all mine are thine, and thine are mine; and I am glorified in them. (John 17:1-10 KJV)

Why do people not simply READ THE BIBLE instead of tons of literature that leads them away from God's Word instead of into it?

God says: Preach the Gospel:

That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life. For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. (John 3:15-19 KJV)

People condemn themselves....

It is surely in hundreds of other verses:

He that despised Moses' law died without mercy under two or three witnesses: Of how much sorer punishment, suppose ye, shall he be thought worthy, who hath trodden under foot the Son of God, and hath counted the blood of the covenant, wherewith he was sanctified, an unholy thing, and hath done despite unto the Spirit of grace? For we know him that hath said, Vengeance belongeth unto me, I will recompense, saith the Lord. And again, The Lord shall judge his people. It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God. (Hebrews 10:28-31 KJV)

Beloved, when I gave all diligence to write unto you of the common salvation, it was needful for me to write unto you, and exhort you that ye should earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints. For there are certain men crept in unawares, who were before of old ordained to this condemnation, ungodly men, turning the grace of our God into lasciviousness, and denying the only Lord God, and our Lord Jesus Christ. I will therefore put you in remembrance, though ye once knew this, how that the Lord, having saved the people out of the land of Egypt, afterward destroyed them that believed not. And the angels which kept not their first estate, but left their own habitation, he hath reserved in everlasting chains under darkness unto the judgment of the great day. Even as Sodom and Gomorrha, and the cities about them in like manner, giving themselves over to fornication, and going after strange flesh, are set forth for an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire. Likewise also these filthy dreamers defile the flesh, despise dominion, and speak evil of dignities. Yet Michael the archangel, when contending with the devil he disputed about the body of Moses, durst not bring against him a railing accusation, but said, The Lord rebuke thee. But these speak evil of those things which they know not: but what they know naturally, as brute beasts, in those things they corrupt themselves. Woe unto them! for they have gone in the way of Cain, and ran greedily after the error of Balaam for reward, and perished in the gainsaying of Core. These are spots in your feasts of charity, when they feast with you, feeding themselves without fear: clouds they are without water, carried about of winds; trees whose fruit withereth, without fruit, twice dead, plucked up by the roots; Raging waves of the sea, foaming out their own shame; wandering stars, to whom is reserved the blackness of darkness for ever. And Enoch also, the seventh from Adam, prophesied of these, saying, Behold, the Lord cometh with ten thousands of his saints, To execute judgment upon all, and to convince all that are ungodly among them of all their ungodly deeds which they have ungodly committed, and of all their hard speeches which ungodly sinners have spoken against him. These are murmurers, complainers, walking after their own lusts; and their mouth speaketh great swelling words, having men's persons in admiration because of advantage. But, beloved, remember ye the words which were spoken before of the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ; How that they told you there should be mockers in the last time, who should walk after their own ungodly lusts. These be they who separate themselves, sensual, having not the Spirit. (Jude 1:3-19 KJV)

And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them. And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works. And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works. And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire. (Revelation 20:11-15 KJV)

And there shall in no wise enter into it any thing that defileth, neither whatsoever worketh abomination, or maketh a lie: but they which are written in the Lamb's book of life. (Revelation 21:27 KJV)

Outside are the dogs, the sorcerers, the sexually immoral, the murderers, the idolaters, and everyone who loves and practices falsehood. Revelation (22:15 WEB)

There is much more, but I think this might be enough. How can people ignore all this?

We need to be reconciled to God to have eternal life. God does not need us, but He loves us and wants us to come to repentance. That is what the Bible say.

God is Just and Righteous.

And they sing the song of Moses the servant of God, and the song of the Lamb, saying, Great and marvellous are thy works, Lord God Almighty; just and true are thy ways, thou King of saints. (Revelation 15:3 KJV)

But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin. If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. (1 John 1:7-9 KJV)

Therefore by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified in his sight: for by the law is the knowledge of sin. But now the righteousness of God without the law is manifested, being witnessed by the law and the prophets; Even the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe: for there is no difference: For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus: Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God; To declare, I say, at this time his righteousness: that he might be just, and the justifier of him which believeth in Jesus. (Romans 3:20-26 KJV)

Jesus paid for our sins in our place to justify us to God, so we can come to His Throne Spiritually sinless.

The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law. But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. (1 Corinthians 15:56-57 KJV)

For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. (Romans 6:23 MKJV)

It was Paul, and it is in Scripture, and it is as plain as could be.
People, rejoice, for in Him we may live. It is a gift of God.
Amen.

Give me that old time religion.........

I marvel that you are so quickly deserting him who called you in the grace of Christ to a different gospel; and there isn't another gospel. Only there are some who trouble you, and want to pervert the gospel of Christ. But even though we, or an angel from heaven, should preach to you any gospel other than that which we preached to you, let him be cursed. As we have said before, so I now say again: if any man preaches to you any gospel other than that which you received, let him be cursed. (Galatians 1:6-9 WEB)
For such men are false apostles, deceitful workers, masquerading as Christ's apostles. And no wonder, for even Satan masquerades as an angel of light. It is no great thing therefore if his ministers also masquerade as servants of righteousness, whose end will be according to their works. (2 Corinthians 11:13-15 WEB)
But evil men and impostors will grow worse and worse, deceiving and being deceived. But you remain in the things which you have learned and have been assured of, knowing from whom you have learned javascript:void(0)them. From infancy, you have known the sacred writings which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith, which is in Christ Jesus. Every writing inspired by God is profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for instruction which is in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work. (2 Timothy 3:13-17 WEB)
I charge you therefore before God and the Lord Jesus Christ, who will judge the living and the dead at His appearing and His kingdom: preach the word; be urgent in season and out of season; reprove, rebuke, and exhort, with all patience and teaching. For the time will come when they will not listen to the sound doctrine, but, having itching ears, will heap up for themselves teachers after their own lusts; and will turn away their ears from the truth, and turn aside to fables. (2 Timothy 4:1-4 WEB)

Be careful...

Be careful with people who say they are Christians and they know more than the Church of God knows or more than the Bible really says. It can be read by everybody and is plain text, though coming from God and Divine. God is really able to express Himself to people and who is straight on - He did not leave guessing games for his people to understand Him. It does not even need much intelligence to understand the message; the Gospel is quite clear, the Holy Spirit explaining it to those He has chosen:
Jesus answered, "Most assuredly I tell you, unless one is born of water and spirit, he can't enter into the Kingdom of God! That which is born of the flesh is flesh. That which is  born of the Spirit is spirit. Don't marvel that I said to you, 'You must be born anew.' The  wind blows where it wants to, and you hear its sound, but don't know where it comes  from and where it is going. So is everyone who is born of the Spirit."
Nicodemus answered him, "How can these things be?"
Jesus answered him, "Are you the teacher of Israel, and don't understand these things? Most assuredly I tell you, we speak that which we know, and testify of that which we have seen, and you don't receive our witness. If I told you earthly things and you don't believe, how will you believe if I tell you heavenly things? No one has ascended into heaven, but he who descended out of heaven, the Son of Man, who is in heaven. As Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of Man be lifted up, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life.
For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life.

For God didn't send his Son into the world to judge the world, but that the world should be saved through him.

He who believes in him is not judged. He who doesn't believe has been judged already, because he has not believed in the name of the only born Son of God.

This is the judgment, that the light has come into the world, and men loved the darkness rather than the light; for their works were evil. For everyone who does evil hates the light, and doesn't come to the light, lest his works would be exposed. But he who does the truth comes to the light, that his works may be revealed, that they have been done in God."

(John 3:5-21 WEB)

Keeping the Commandments

Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. (Mat 7:21 KJV)
For whosoever shall do the will of my Father which is in heaven, the same is my brother, and sister, and mother. (Mat 12:50 KJV)
So according to the Word of God, Jesus DID say we are to do the Father's will, and no self-betrayal will help you. He also said there is a strait gate, and only few will find it.

Jesus says,
"And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment" (Mar 12:30 KJV)
The following verses make it even clearer...
"By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God, and keep his commandments. For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous. For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith." (1Jn 5:2-4 KJV)
Christians want to keep the commandments, or the love of GOD is just a farce. But they can still sin and do sin, but the difference between the world and them is that the LORD shows them their sin, and that they feel ashamed for it. The LORD allows such things to happen, so nobody can boast to be free of sin, and better than someone else. Cheap grace, however, will never lead to Heaven. I have seen that here in the Christian newsgroups so very often. People sin against brothers or sisters KNOWINGLY, even including their future so-called "apology" in their action already. It is like they take the right for themselves to shoot their neighbor and justify that by the chance to "apologize" to his widow later. ;-)

I saw it even better done here... They chased brothers and sisters off the groups, THEN, after they had left, "apologized", and if they did not accept their apology, blamed them for being unforgiving. Okay, so far so good... but God's Word says,
Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter! Woe unto them that are wise in their own eyes, and prudent in their own sight! (Isa 5:20-21 KJV)
The fact that Christians are still sinners does not justify sin. It just shows that Christians depend on God's mercy and grace completely, and that they have not really deserved anything that He gives them yet.

We all need God's help to drag us out of the mud!

The Bible

The Bible is a book with "seven seals". Yes, really. But that does not mean you cannot understand it when you read it. The best way to read the Bible is to pray to God before you read, and, after reading, be still and listen to what God wants to tell you. You might be astonished of the answers.
Before I converted, I did not even have a Bible, because I could not believe that a book was a way to find God. That seemed just ridiculous for me. But I finally bought a Bible, a simplified version, and that was a good purchase, because I could read it like any other book now. Suddenly I found myself represented in it and could not get enough. The characters that were described were so "human", with faults, always doing the wrong things - just like me! All the questions I had had for years from my childhood on were answered. So I read on, and then the LORD touched me with His Words, telling me that what I was reading was the truth, the absolute truth, and there was no other truth. I gave up evolution theory, because it was not true, though very thrilling. I also gave up philosophy, because it did not man anything to me anymore. But God spoke to me through the Bible, and it felt good, my heart burning for it. This warm feeling has never left me ever after, and I have been a Christian for ten years now. It did not mean that I was saved from hardship, no. But no matter what happened to me - the LORD has always been there at my side, and knowing that He was there made it all easier to bear.
We are not promised a rose garden. There will still be sorrow and tears. But the LORD will finally dry all the tears Himself when we come to Him, and that will be the greatest day in my life. I am a believer. I believe that God is speaking through the Bible today, and this is a miracle. He is alive! Reckon with His presence when you are reading the Bible, but also if not. The Bible is one possibility to get into touch with God. If you are wise, take this chance! It is not granted, but a chance, even a chance of eternal life. Reading the Bible may not only change your views on your life, but change it completely. God might reveal Himself when you read the Bible.
Thanks for listening.
Praised be His Holy name.
Amen.

Bible Study on 1Co 15:26-28

First of all, please take a little time and pray to the LORD Jesus Christ to explain the Scriptures to you and to speak into your heart, please.
 ~~*°*~~

Then read the verses - best in your own Bible. It is much nicer, because you can see them in context. It may happen that you stumble over other verses that touch you one way or other, and the LORD might want to tell you something personally by that. So reckon with the LORD's presence you have finally prayed for it.
~~*°*~~
We will now focus on 1Co 15:26-28 (King James Version):
The last enemy that shall be destroyed is death.
For he hath put all things under his feet.
But when he saith all things are put under him, it is manifest that he is excepted, which did put all things under him.
And when all things shall be subdued unto him, then shall the Son also himself be subject unto him that put all things under him, that God may be all in all.
~~*°*~~
In the first chapter of 1 Corinthians the Apostle Paul addresses himself to the Corinthians by the following words:
Paul, called to be an apostle of Jesus Christ through the will of God, and Sosthenes our brother, Unto the church of God which is at Corinth, to them that are sanctified in Christ Jesus, called to be saints, with all that in every place call upon the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, both theirs and ours: Grace be unto you, and peace, from God our Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ. (1Co 1:1-3 KJV)
Paul's first letter to the Corinthians, originally written in Greek by the Apostle Paul to the church at Corinth in Greece, a church that he had planted himself, and a church with a lot of division among the believers whose false doctrine he tried to correct in this letter and the following, was not meant to be understood by people who were no Christian believers, but the verses I chose can give a hint on the nature of God, a deeper understanding of who GOD is, and also make what is meant by the term "Trinity" that is used by so many Christians and which is just a term to describe what Paul has described in common language in 1Co 15 a little clearer. We say God is three persons, all equally divine, equally mighty and eternal, but people often doubt that Jesus is not just the Son of God but GOD in person with the same characteristics, identical. We Christians all worship the ONE GOD in three separate persons known as the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit.

In the same letter Paul wrote two chapters before ours:
For we know in part, and we prophesy in part. But when that which is perfect is come, then that which is in part shall be done away. When I was a child, I spake as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child: but when I became a man, I put away childish things. For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known. (1Co 13:9-12 KJV)
We should read our verses in this light. The LORD obviosuly revealed something to Paul who put it into words in this letter.

But now let us get back to our verses in 1Co 15:26-28...

Please read the verses again now...
~~*°*~~
The last enemy that shall be destroyed is death.
For he hath put all things under his feet.
But when he saith all things are put under him, it is manifest that he is excepted, which did put all things under him.
And when all things shall be subdued unto him, then shall the Son also himself be subject unto him that put all things under him, that God may be all in all.

~~*°*~~
Take a little time for a prayer and reckon with Jesus' answers.
~~*°*~~

Go back into the verses and try to find out what God wants to tell you. Is something there striking you especially?

First of all it gets clear that God has enemies, one of which is "death". I know a lot of people who fear death so much that they cannot even speak of it. How easy it becomes for Christians to speak about it, knowing that death will be defeated  by God, completely and once and for all.

Some people say God has no enemies, but they seem to know more than the Apostle Paul, which I doubt.
~~*°*~~
The last enemy that shall be destroyed is death.
For he hath put all things under his feet. But when he saith all things are put under him, it is manifest that he is excepted, which did put all things under him. And when all things shall be subdued unto him, then shall the Son also himself be subject unto him that put all things under him, that God may be all in all.
~~*°*~~

I can ask myself, "Who is the one who will destroy death?" The context makes clear that Paul is speaking of Jesus Christ in these verses. Something went out of control, because some creatures in Heaven rebelled against God and became His enemies. The serpent managed to seduce Eve and Adam, which made them partakers of this rebellion and humans enemies of God. God, however, loves us humans so much that He even gave His Son for us to die for this rebellion in our place, and thus His Son defeated the curse of death that was on mankind when God kicked them out of Paradise (known as the original sin). After the Lamb of God, Jesus, paid the price for our sin by His blood at Calvary, we can get freed from this curse and may have eternal life starting here on earth the moment we become believers and understand and confess that we are in a jam and cannot get out of it on our own efforts but need God to help us get over our evil nature. Then God can take the leadership of our life if He has mercy on us - and a new Christian is born. Heaven rejoices in that, and all the Angels sing hallelujah. There is no death anymore!

Jesus Christ has "put all things under his feet", even death, finally. He is the ruler, the KING of KINGS!
And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war. His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns; and he had a name written, that no man knew, but he himself. And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God. And the armies which were in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean. And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God. And he hath on his vesture and on his thigh a name written, KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS. (Rev 19:11-16 KJV)
In the 1 Cor 13 we get to know from Paul that only "love, faith and hope" will remain of all things, the only things that are pure and holy enough for Heaven, for there will be the presence of God all over the place, and we will rejoice in His light and glory. The evil will have no say there anymore, which reminds me of my favorite verses in Revelation:
"And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea. And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God. And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away. And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful. And he said unto me, It is done. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life freely. He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son." (Rev 21:1-7 KJV)
This will be left for the enemies of God, however:
"But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death." (Rev 21:8 KJV)
And back to our verses...
~~*°*~~
The last enemy that shall be destroyed is death.
For he hath put all things under his feet.
But when he saith all things are put under him, it is manifest that he is excepted, which did put all things under him.
And when all things shall be subdued unto him, then shall the Son also himself be subject unto him that put all things under him, that God may be all in all.
~~*°*~~

The Father has given all things under the control of Jesus Christ. GOD Himself cannot be under the control of Jesus Christ, because God was the one who authorized Jesus Christ to submit all things unto Him. GOD Himself cannot be subjected to the Son, being the one who authorizes the Son.

Now the verses before ours make sense, saying:
Then cometh the end, when he shall have delivered up the kingdom to God, even the Father; when he shall have put down all rule and all authority and power. For he must reign, till he hath put all enemies under his feet. (1Co 15:24-25 KJV)
Jesus must reign, and after defeating GOD's enemies, He will submit everything to the Father again, so they will be ALL in ALL - ONE GOD.
The following verses also underline this:
"Ye have heard how I said unto you, I go away, and come again unto you. If ye loved me, ye would rejoice, because I said, I go unto the Father: for my Father is greater than I." (Joh 14:28 KJV)
If the Father was not, how could He have authorized the Son?

~~*°*~~
Let me express what the LORD told me to keep in mind from the above in my own words.
The Heavenly Father sent His Son Jesus Christ to destroy His enemies, those who rebel against Him and His sovereignty, the last of which is death. Death is still a part of this world, but it is not the last word. There is eternal life for humans, and Jesus Christ made it available for us by paying the price for our sin in our place. He is the KING of KINGS, and will subdue everything and everyone under His leadership. The Father authorized Him for that, but the Father cannot be subject to the Son Jesus Christ and is no part of this subjection, so Jesus will give all authority and power and everything else back to the Father and submits everything and Himself to Him, so they are finally ONE GOD, one in the other, all things in Jesus, Jesus in the Father, and the Father in Jesus and all things. That is why Jesus said:
"I and my Father are one." (Joh 10:30 KJV)
~~*°*~~
Maranatha! Come, Lord Jesus!
Amen.
