Water... Wasser...

Foto by Vera Six

The Love of God is shining down from Heaven, and if you have a close look, you can see God's smile reflected in the water...

Die Liebe Gottes scheint herab vom Himmel, und wenn du genau hinsiehst, kannst du sehen, wie sich Gottes Lächeln im Wasser widerspiegelt.

Water often stands symbolically for life... Jesus Christ said, "I am the way, the water and the life. Nobody comes to the Father but through me. (John 14:6), and also to John, "It is done. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life freely." (Revelation 21:6 KJV)

(Offenbarung 21:6 GLB)

Peace... Frieden...

Now the God of peace, that brought again from the dead our Lord Jesus, that great shepherd of the sheep, through the blood of the everlasting covenant, Make you perfect in every good work to do his will, working in you that which is wellpleasing in his sight, through Jesus Christ; to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen. (Hebrews 13:20-21 KJV)

Amen. (Hebräer 13:20-21 GEB)

The MONSTER

I remember a day as a kid when I was at home in the summer. Nobody else but me in the apartment... Then I saw the MONSTER!!! GREEN, SCARY LEGS LIKE A MILE LONG, HATEFUL EYES AND A MOUTH THAT WANTED TO DEVOUR POOR LITTLE ME!!! I got the insect spray and sprayed whatever I could... The monster finally did not move much any more, just a little bit only... It was much smaller now, so I dared to have a closer look at it... I had never seen such a monster before... Then I felt pity with the chap, and got some paper and managed to get in on that... Then I carried the monster out of the apartment and put it into the high green grass... I hoped it would recover, and who knows... It might just have been addicted to this spray afterwards... not sure. Poor thing!

I thought it looked like from much farther away than Mars for sure... They have found a planet that might have similar conditions as here on the earth lately, and not even too far away from the earth... But will mankind ever be able to go there?

Christians know how to get to the new earth soon... It is so easy... we just need to follow the Morning Star, also known as Jesus Christ, in our hearts...

Meanwhile people are still looking for another way... but this will be in vain, because it is still too far away… I mean, if they start their journey now, it would only take 600 light years... They might make in their life time... or not...

Our existence is eternal... either life in Heaven or death in the lake of fire. In other words, we should all pray to God to have mercy on us.... and turn up in our lives and take over the steering wheel...
If sin sets us apart from God, there is just one way how to overcome this... which is through faith, our trust in God that He can save us, because we cannot save ourselves. He can change us, so we will be able to stand His presence and not die when we come as close as to see Him face to face, in reality.
Our sin separates us... from the love of God… The more love we have, the more we approach God… His light destroys all darkness... so we can only come closer without sin sticking in our souls... Jesus can make a change and wash it away in His blood... He paid for it already on the cross... for all the times when we fell short of the Father's glory... All we have to do is believe in Him that He is able to save us - then He will!!!
It will mean eternal life in Heaven with the resurrected Son of God and the Father and Creator of all and everything. He is worthy of or our praises, for He gave us a wonderful planet - even after humans were fired from Paradise... He is able to give us a new planet earth again! Even so, come Lord Jesus! Amen.

By the way… it was a grass hopper…

Truth Community Fellowship - Spiritual Victory in a Hostile World

Prayer...

Again I say unto you, That if two of you shall agree on earth as touching any thing that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven. For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them. (Matthew 18:19-20 KJV)

That's My King Dr. S.M. Lockridge

Catholic Mysticism and the Emerging Church Reexamined

The Tree of Life

And the LORD God said, Behold, the man is become as one of us, to know good and evil: and now, lest he put forth his hand, and take also of the tree of life, and eat, and live for ever: Therefore the LORD God sent him forth from the garden of Eden, to till the ground from whence he was taken. So he drove out the man; and he placed at the east of the garden of Eden Cherubims, and a flaming sword which turned every way, to keep the way of the tree of life. (Genesis 3:22-24 KJV)

After the fall and eating the forbidden fruit from the tree of knowledge, the problem was that Adam and Eve had allowed sin into their lives by listening to the serpent, and if they had eaten from the tree of life afterwards, too, they would never have been able to get rid of it again in an eternal state. When I compare this to computer software when we have "created" something like a picture, we can "save" it on the hard disk. When I burn it on a CD-Rom or DVD then it can (normally) not be changed anymore. If there were mistakes that I burnt, they would remain "forever" on the CD-Rom or DVD. So there had to be a way to get rid of sin, of evil, of all the parts that fall away from what God had originally created. Thus all mankind is on its way to sanctification... Some will make it, others will not... There are actually two ways possible: One is to live a perfect life without any sin, but this is impossible for us, because we all fall short of the glory and are woven into this fallen world. We cannot just stripe this off. There was only one who lived a sinless life on earth, and he was God's own Son. He was sent by God the Father just for this purpose, and only He could do what man would never have been able to do, which was to keep the law. But beyond this He did something even greater for us, namely die for us on the cross in our place and for our sin, so we can all live with God in Heaven forever one day... it is free, no fees to be paid - all we have to do is trust in Jesus Christ and follow Him.

Sin is separating us from God. There is just one punishment for sin which is death, no matter how small or big the sin is. We need to be aware that we are all condemned to death. The only way out is Jesus Christ, because He paid for our sins on the tree by His blood for us. Blessed are all those who can refer to Him as their Savior on Judgment Day... They will live in Heaven with God forever, and it will not be boring there at all... there will be life in abundance, but a much deeper life than we know and joy will fill our hearts where no sorrow has any place to be.

That is why I left my former church...

That is why I left my former church - they do not even believe in God and see something like a nice club in the church... They hate evangelicals... and work with all psychological means as this article proves - to add VOTERS. Why do they claim to be Christians if they think they can save themselves and that God left this world and does not respond? The blind leading the blind... sad this... they see us evangelicals as their enemies... just as the the Bible says for the end times... I can also tell you why: They want to bow to Islam to save their poor little selves... It will not help them when they stand in front of their Creator, though... He has spoken clearly about this... all we have to do is follow Jesus Christ ... but not the way THEY say - it should be the way HE says. Read the Bible yourselves and find it out... Do not trust anyone. Trust God. Trust His Word. Go get a Bible and read it!!! We are not to EMERGE in town as they say... We are to preach the GOSPEL OF CHRIST TO THE NATIONS!!! Amen.

Steps to Successful Prayer, Part 2

Steps to Successful Prayer, Part 2

Quoting Paul Washer...

"We are not called to study the word of God to be a good debater, or to prepare sermons, we are called to live with it. We are not called to preach the Gospel with clever minds, but with the power of the Holy Spirit" - Pastor Paul Washer

"Es wird nicht von uns verlangt, dass wir das Wort Gottes studieren um gut debattieren zu können oder um Predigten vorzubereiten, sondern um damit zu leben. Es wird nicht von uns verlangt, dass wir das Evangelium mit klugen Köpfen predigen, sondern mit der Kraft des Heiligen Geistes." - Pastor Paul Washer.

GOD CAN SPEAK

Yes, God speaks to us through His Word. I do not know why people try to find God in signs like numbers, in the lines of the hand, or elsewhere. They forget that God is Almighty and can speak! It is so comforting to hear what He says to each and everyone on earth... He says, "I love you! Listen and come back to me! Follow my Son Jesus Christ whom I gave away to die for you to pay for all of your sins by His blood! Believe me! Trust me! You can trust me, because I am your Creator. Cast all your sins on my Son. This will save you from eternal death and we can live together in Heaven. Death is no more for those who love me and follow my Son." What is hindering them? Why do some not even have the longing to get to know God, and why do others still prefer to worship cruel gods and idols that tell them to hate others? There is just one true God, and His name is LOVE. You do not kill others if you LOVE.

Dear Friends, if you have not already: Come into the LIGHT and meet GOD today - it could be your last chance... Go down onto your knees and pray.... and ask Him to be the Master of your life... for we are all sinners and cannot please God... We need a Savior... Maybe GOD MOST HIGH has mercy on you as He had on me.

Love You all!

1 Corinthians 13 in its Context – Part 1

1 Corinthians 13 in its Context – Part 1

°~°~°~°
"Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, and have not charity, I am become as sounding brass, or a tinkling cymbal…" (1 Cor:13:1)

1 Corinthians 13 is definitely one of the most beautiful passages of the Bible, and it is known for that not only to Christian believers. I wondered why the Apostle Paul had used these beautiful words in a letter to a church, and I found out that the context in 1 Corinthians 12 and 1 Corinthians 14 also deals greatly with the question of tongues to which chapter 13 refers.

Paul addresses this whole letter to the Corinthian church of the first century, a church that had a lot of problems and divisions. Paul had to fight against the immorality of the congregation, for sexual purity, he had to resolve personal disputes, he taught them about marriage and Christian liberty as well as about how to worship at church and of the most important jobs and gifts for Christians at a church.

Many Christians, however, have made something else out of this, and taken the Scriptures out of context to start their own Gospel that claims salvation by speaking in tongues. It is true, Paul mentions tongues in this letter, especially in Chapter 12, 13 and 14, which should be read and considered in FULL context, in its ENTIRETY. Whoever cares about God's Word will do so, and it is not so difficult to understand. Some Christians love to leave chapter 13 out, however, and just concentrate on the tongues question, because chapter 13 proves them wrong. I would love to shed a little Scriptural light on that, since I have seldom seen a topic that has brought more strife and division to the Body of Christ than this (apart from the homosexuals probably, and the New Age hocus pocus aka Emerging Church Movement).

Paul was actually not driving the Corinthians into praying in tongues but warning them not to overdo it, and he did certainly not claim it for salvation or an important gift, and the following verses might make this clearer when he wrote in chapter 12, after showing that there are many different gifts, but one Spirit, different administrations, but the same Lord and different operations, but the same God which worketh all in all. (v. 4-6)

He mentions a number of gifts (v. 7-11), of which speaking in tongues and interpretation of this are the last gifts mentioned (v. 7-10). In verse 11 he emphasises: "But all these worketh that one and the selfsame Spirit, dividing to every man severally as he will." There is no word of the necessity of any of the mentioned gifts for salvation. It is all up to God whom He provides with certain gifts, probably because different people need different gifts in different situations. Paul continues to point out that there is a diversity of people, gifts and jobs, but one Spirit, and that the Christians are all One Body that needs all of its parts equally. (v. 12-27)

Paul continues to give a list of callings in the following order:

"And God hath set some in the church, first apostles, secondarily prophets, thirdly teachers, after that miracles, then gifts of healings, helps, governments, diversities of tongues." (1 Corinthians 12:28 KJV)
"Diversities of tongues…" can you see on which place tongues are mentioned?

Now, if Apostles are mentioned fist: Do I have to be an Apostle to be saved? Surely not. Neither do I have to pray in tongues for that which is mentioned last of all, not first of all. And this gets even clearer when Paul asks:

"Are all apostles? are all prophets? are all teachers? are all workers of miracles? Have all the gifts of healing? do all speak with tongues? do all interpret?" (v. 12:29-30 KJV)

Paul ends chapter 12 with the following words:

"But covet earnestly the best gifts: and yet shew I unto you a more excellent way." (verse 31)
Oh, what might this be, a "more excellent way"?

Did Paul probably make a mistake to put the Song of Songs, 1 Corinthians 13, that deals with LOVE right after that last sentence? Definitely not! He points out what is really important, and it is NOT praying in tongues:

"Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, and have not charity, I am become as sounding brass, or a tinkling cymbal. And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries, and all knowledge; and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, and have not charity, I am nothing. And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, and have not charity, it profiteth me nothing." (ch. 13:1-3) [...]

This whole chapter ends (please read it completely in your Bible):

"And now abideth faith, hope, charity, these three; but the greatest of these is charity." (1 Corinthians 13:13 KJV)

The next chapter goes even more into detail and starts with the following words:

"Follow after charity, and desire spiritual gifts, but rather that ye may prophesy. For he that speaketh in an unknown tongue speaketh not unto men, but unto God: for no man understandeth him; howbeit in the spirit he speaketh mysteries. But he that prophesieth speaketh unto men to edification, and exhortation, and comfort. He that speaketh in an unknown tongue edifieth himself; but he that prophesieth edifieth the church. I would that ye all spake with tongues, but rather that ye prophesied: for greater is he that prophesieth than he that speaketh with tongues, except he interpret, that the church may receive edifying." (1 Corinthians 14:1-5 KJV)

I will stop here and deal with 1 Corinthians 14 in a part 2 of this essay another time soon. But I highly recommend to all of you to read this chapter in context already.

One more thing, please do not get me wrong… I love all my Charismatic brothers and sisters. I appreciate them very much and hope that their teachers stop telling them lies about the needs of praying in tongues for salvation. I do not mind if they do and I did not write this article to offend any of my friends, so please forgive me if I did anyway. I wrote it after a lot of prayer and to find out the truth in God's Holy Word. Truth is what any Christian should be looking for, right?

God Bless you all!
