Ezekiel 20:12 and John 10:10

Hi dear Friends Worldwide! Hope you will all have a wonderful New Year 2014! The sum of the digits is the number of perfection in the Bible, by the way. If that is not a good sign! Now I have some Bible verses for you again...

Moreover also I gave them my sabbaths, to be a sign between me and them.
Ezekiel 20:12 KJV

I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.
John 10:10 KJV

Thank you for 2013, dear LORD Jesus, and for never leaving me. You are LORD also over the Sabbath which you created for the people, so they could worship you and thus understand how wonderful you are, o You Great God!
Thank you also for freeing us from the curse of the law and that I as a Christian may be in the Sabbath peace on every day of the year. That is life in abundance! Please Bless the New Year 2014 and make it a good year for us as well as for the politicians who rule our countries, and send the people hope. May your will be done according to your plan, as it is done already anyway. Amen.

Lamentations 3:31-32 and Ephesians 2:8

Hi my dear Friends! <3 Have a great last day in 2013!

For the Lord will not cast off for ever: But though he cause grief, yet will he have compassion according to the multitude of his mercies.
Lamentations 3:31-32 KJV

For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God.
Ephesians 2:8 KJV

Dear LORD Jesus, thank you for your grace through which we are saved, and for your mercy on us!

We have not deserved it, though, but your love is so great that you no longer want to hold us our sins against us if we believe in you and put our trust in you. That is what we do! Amen.

Amos 6:6 and Philippians 2:4

Good Morning, Afternoon or Evening my Friends! Have a Blessed Week! There are some Bible verses for us today:

That drink wine in bowls, and anoint themselves with the chief ointments: but they are not grieved for the affliction of Joseph.
Amos 6:6 KJV

Look not every man on his own things, but every man also on the things of others.
Philippians 2:4 KJV

Dear LORD Jesus Christ, you did not think on your own thing when you died for us, but on ours for which we give thanks. We often forget that we are not to dance around our own self, but should care about our neighbor. Let me do things that will help others, too, today. Please show me what this could be. Amen.

Psalms 143:5 and Galatians 1:11-12

Good Morning/Afternoon/Evening my dear Friends! Have a Blessed Sunday!

I remember the days of old; I meditate on all thy works; I muse on the work of thy hands.
Psalms 143:5 KJV

But I certify you, brethren, that the gospel which was preached of me is not after man. For I neither received it of man, neither was I taught it, but by the revelation of Jesus Christ.
Galatians 1:11-12 KJV

LORD Jesus Christ, dear God, again and again I have been overwhelmed by recognizing the beauty of your Creation and the greatness of the universe. Everything from you is simply wonderful, and so is your Gospel, your perfect plan to save this world anyway while it cannot save itself. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!! Please reveal yourself to many people today, too. Amen.

Galatians 2:20

"The life which I now live in the flesh, I live by the faith of the Son of God." - Galatians 2:20
When the Lord in mercy passed by and saw us in our blood, He first of all said, "Live"; and this He did first, because life is one of the absolutely essential things in spiritual matters, and until it be bestowed we are incapable of partaking in the things of the kingdom. Now the life which grace confers upon the saints at the moment of their quickening is none other than the life of Christ, which, like the sap from the stem, runs into us, the branches, and establishes a living connection between our souls and Jesus. Faith is the grace which perceives this union, having proceeded from it as its firstfruit. It is the neck which joins the body of the Church to its all-glorious Head.
"Oh Faith! thou bond of union with the Lord,
Is not this office thine? and thy fit name,
In the economy of gospel types,
    And symbols apposite-the Church's neck;
Identifying her in will and work
    With Him ascended?"
Faith lays hold upon the Lord Jesus with a firm and determined grasp. She knows His excellence and worth, and no temptation can induce her to repose her trust elsewhere; and Christ Jesus is so delighted with this heavenly grace, that He never ceases to strengthen and sustain her by the loving embrace and all-sufficient support of His eternal arms. Here, then, is established a living, sensible, and delightful union which casts forth streams of love, confidence, sympathy, complacency, and joy, whereof both the bride and bridegroom love to drink. When the soul can evidently perceive this oneness between itself and Christ, the pulse may be felt as beating for both, and the one blood as flowing through the veins of each. Then is the heart as near heaven as it can be on earth, and is prepared for the enjoyment of the most sublime and spiritual kind of fellowship.

Genesis 12:2 an Romans 12:14

Hello World! <3 Dear ones! I hope you have a blessed day... Well, we can make plans for 2014 now... I am already at it... Di you have some real plans yet? The Bible verses of today fit very well, I think...

And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing:
Genesis 12:2 KJV

Bless them which persecute you: bless, and curse not.
Romans 12:14 KJV

Dear LORD Jesus Christ, thank you for letting us feel your blessings with so many good things all over again! So I would really love to be a blessing for others, too! Please help me to bless my foes also and do them good instead of cursing. It is often hard, but I can succeed by your help. Do not let us drown in emotions but act according to your will, especially with regards to our enemies even if it is difficult. Amen.

Psalms 24:7-8

Lift up your heads, O ye gates;
and be ye lift up, ye everlasting doors;
and the King of glory shall come in.

Who is this King of glory?
The LORD strong and mighty,
the LORD mighty in battle.

Psalms 24:7-8 (KJV)

Godlikeness or Redemption?

Godlikeness or Redemption?

Some people think they are Godlike already... however, it is like that: to be Godlike one day they have to realize that they are still very far from the Glory of God and how much they need redemption. I need it for sure, every day, every hour, every minute.

Job 8:11

"Can the rush grow up without mire?" - Job 8:11

The rush is spongy and hollow, and even so is a hypocrite; there is no substance or stability in him. It is shaken to and fro in every wind just as formalists yield to every influence; for this reason the rush is not broken by the tempest, neither are hypocrites troubled with persecution. I would not willingly be a deceiver or be deceived; perhaps the text for this day may help me to try myself whether I be a hypocrite or no. The rush by nature lives in water, and owes its very existence to the mire and moisture wherein it has taken root; let the mire become dry, and the rush withers very quickly. Its greenness is absolutely dependent upon circumstances, a present abundance of water makes it flourish, and a drought destroys it at once. Is this my case? Do I only serve God when I am in good company, or when religion is profitable and respectable? Do I love the Lord only when temporal comforts are received from His hands? If so I am a base hypocrite, and like the withering rush, I shall perish when death deprives me of outward joys. But can I honestly assert that when bodily comforts have been few, and my surroundings have been rather adverse to grace than at all helpful to it, I have still held fast my integrity? then have I hope that there is genuine vital godliness in me. The rush cannot grow without mire, but plants of the Lord's right hand planting can and do flourish even in the year of drought. A godly man often grows best when his worldly circumstances decay. He who follows Christ for his bag is a Judas; they who follow for loaves and fishes are children of the devil; but they who attend Him out of love to Himself are His own beloved ones. Lord, let me find my life in Thee, and not in the mire of this world's favour or gain.

- C.H. Spurgeon

Isaiah 37:16 and Ephesians 1:3

Good Morning/Afternoon/Evening my dear Friends, on this wonderful second Christmas Day! Lots of Blessings be yours today. <3

O LORD of hosts, God of Israel, that dwellest between the cherubims, thou art the God, even thou alone, of all the kingdoms of the earth: thou hast made heaven and earth.
Isaiah 37:16 KJV

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ:
Ephesians 1:3 KJV

Dear Heavenly Father, many thanks for your great blessing that you gave to us when you sent your Son Jesus into this world for us to die for our sins in our place! Now we can be free for Heaven. Please make us aware of what it must have meant for you. Bless us today, too. We praise you  from the deep of our hearts! Amen in Jesus' name.

The Voice of God

Weird... Are they all crazy? They hold a little plastic box on their ear and believe they can hear voices of people who are not even there... billions of people do this every day!

But if someone can hear the voice of God, they do not believe it. They do not believe God is capable of what all their friends have been capable for a long time already. Strange... Maybe it is because they have never experienced it themselves... If they had told to my great-grand-father something of mobile phones, he would just have shaken his head. Why do not people trust God enough for it? And since they do not believe it, they cannot hear anything.

Psalms 68:19 KJV and Luke 2:13-14

Good Morning dear Friends! It is very windy outside here were I am, and the roof tiles are clattering. I think it is cosy. :-) God Bless you on this Holy Christmas Eve.

Blessed be the Lord, who daily loadeth us with benefits, even the God of our salvation. Selah.
Psalms 68:19 KJV

And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God, and saying, Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men.
Luke 2:13-14 KJV

Dear LORD Jesus! Honor and thanks be to you for redeeming us. You left your secure place in Heaven, came into this lost world as a human to die for us in our place and pay for  our sins, so we could be reconciled to God who made us His children. Your name be highly praised! Amen!

Isaiah 45:17 KJV and Matthew 1:20-21

Good Morning Everybody! And do not forget: no stress before Christmas!!! It is not about perfection... but about Love that was born into this world personally: Jesus Christ. Stay in this joy, or come and join us!

But Israel shall be saved in the LORD with an everlasting salvation: ye shall not be ashamed nor confounded world without end.
Isaiah 45:17 KJV

But while he thought on these things, behold, the angel of the Lord appeared unto him in a dream, saying, Joseph, thou son of David, fear not to take unto thee Mary thy wife: for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Ghost. And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins.
Matthew 1:20-21 KJV

Yes, dear LORD Jesus, you saved Israel forever and always! You will keep your promises once spoken, because you are faithful, and Israel is your people and will always be.
Thank you for not just saving Israel, but also people from other nations again and again, just as you saved me. Please save them all if this is possible. Why do they not also want it? Praised be your Holy Name forever! Amen.

The statutes of the LORD are right, rejoicing the heart: the commandment of the LORD is pure, enlightening the eyes.
Psalms 19:8 KJV

And hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments.
1 John 2:3 KJV

Dear LORD Jesus Christ, yes, we want to keep your Commandments, because they are prefect. Thank you for them! There would be so much less suffering in this world if anyone stuck to them and did your will. Please help us today to succeed in that. Amen.

Deuteronomy 4:2 and 1 Timothy 4:16

Good Morning, Afternoon or Evening, dear Friends!

Ye shall not add unto the word which I command you, neither shall ye diminish ought from it, that ye may keep the commandments of the LORD your God.
Deuteronomy 4:2 KJV

Take heed unto thyself, and unto the doctrine; continue in them: for in doing this thou shalt both save thyself, and them that hear thee.
1 Timothy 4:16 KJV

Oh LORD, I really welcome these words very much today. So many people twist your words, turn them upside down, from the right to the left. Your Word just cannot be interpreted arbitrarily! Sometimes I do not know where my head is anymore, either. Please strengthen my faith. Amen.

Isaiah 55:11 KJV

And a certain woman named Lydia, a seller of purple, of the city of Thyatira, which worshipped God, heard us: whose heart the Lord opened.

Genesis 35:2 and Luke 12:34

Good Morning/Afternoon/Evening my Friends! <3 Have a blessed day today! :-)

Then Jacob said unto his household, and to all that were with him, Put away the strange gods that are among you, and be clean, and change your garments:
Genesis 35:2 KJV

For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.
Luke 12:34 KJV

Yes, LORD Jesus, it is high time for us Christians to separate ourselves from strange gods and confess you, our God. Strange gods are not able to save us. Please help us let go of everything that still binds us if it is not you. Thank you for the many treasures you have hidden for us and which we may find now to send them to Heaven, so they can be collected there for later already. Amen.

"Come unto me." - Matthew 11:28

The cry of the Christian religion is the gentle word, "Come." The Jewish law harshly said, "Go, take heed unto thy steps as to the path in which thou shalt walk. Break the commandments, and thou shalt perish; keep them, and thou shalt live." The law was a dispensation of terror, which drove men before it as with a scourge; the gospel draws with bands of love. Jesus is the good Shepherd going before His sheep, bidding them follow Him, and ever leading them onwards with the sweet word, "Come." The law repels, the gospel attracts. The law shows the distance which there is between God and man; the gospel bridges that awful chasm, and brings the sinner across it.

From the first moment of your spiritual life until you are ushered into glory, the language of Christ to you will be, "Come, come unto me." As a mother puts out her finger to her little child and woos it to walk by saying, "Come," even so does Jesus. He will always be ahead of you, bidding you follow Him as the soldier follows his captain. He will always go before you to pave your way, and clear your path, and you shall hear His animating voice calling you after Him all through life; while in the solemn hour of death, His sweet words with which He shall usher you into the heavenly world shall be-"Come, ye blessed of my Father."

Nay, further, this is not only Christ's cry to you, but, if you be a believer, this is your cry to Christ-"Come! come!" You will be longing for His second advent; you will be saying, "Come quickly, even so come Lord Jesus." You will be panting for nearer and closer communion with Him. As His voice to you is "Come," your response to Him will be, "Come, Lord, and abide with me. Come, and occupy alone the throne of my heart; reign there without a rival, and consecrate me entirely to Thy service."

- Charles Hadden Spurgeon

Psalms 5:12 KJV

Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.

1 Samuel 2:30 KJV

Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.
Galatians 6:7 KJV

If Jesus came to a church in my country today

If Jesus came to a church in my country today, He might get a breakfast, being talked to in an angel-like manner, and would then be forced to listen to a false doctrine of the new pastor preaching Islam. Then there will be a collection for the building of a new mosque in town. Afterwards he would have to watch a wedding ceremony of two homosexuals, but only after a breath meditation in which they breathe Jesus in and Christ out, Christ out, Christ out. The leaders would not tell him their full names and addresses, because they fear being disturbed in their privacy, but would want to know His, plus His full address and phone number.

Hello dear Friends! I am a little early today, but otherwise I would be late… so excuse me, please. Have a blessed weekend altogether!

He that followeth after righteousness and mercy findeth life, righteousness, and honour.
Proverbs 21:21 KJV

But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.
Matthew 6:33 KJV

Dear Heavenly Father, we humans love to be after so many earthly things which can never satisfy us, because they cannot reach our hearts. But you have touched us with your love after we had disappointed you so badly – what could we want more than that that while you care for us, your children? Amen in the name of Jesus.

Psalms 119:73 KJV

This is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you.

Jeremiah 8:9 and Ephesians 1:17

Have a wonderful and blessed Morning, Day and Night, dear Friends and Foes! God Bless you all!

Lo, the wise men have rejected the word of the LORD; and what wisdom is in them?
Jeremiah 8:9 KJV

That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him:
Ephesians 1:17 KJV

None, LORD Jesus. There is no wisdom in them without you. Knowing you opened my eyes, so now I can see clearly. Thank you for that! There are so many blind leading the blind and they do not even notice how blind they are. They have rejected your Word, people trusted by many. Please open their hearts, their ears and their eyes, so they can recognise you and your Word is revealed to them. Amen.

Exodus 23:25 and Matthew 6:31-32

Good Morning/Afternoon/Evening! Have a wonderful and Blessed second Sunday of Advent!

And ye shall serve the LORD your God, and he shall bless thy bread, and thy water; and I will take sickness away from the midst of thee.
Exodus 23:25 KJV

Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed? (...) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things.
Matthew 6:31-32 KJV

Dear LORD and God, Heavenly Father, we want to serve and trust you alone. Sometimes we forget to throw all our sorrows onto you because we have fear not getting along in this world. But you will always take care for us, do the best for your children and provide us. We ask you for that, please. Thank you! Amen in the name of Jesus Christ.

"I am made all things to all men, that I might by all means save some."-1 Corinthians 9:22

"I am made all things to all men, that I might by all means save some."-1 Corinthians 9:22
Paul's great object was not merely to instruct and to improve, but to save. Anything short of this would have disappointed him; he would have men renewed in heart, forgiven, sanctified, in fact, saved. Have our Christian labours been aimed at anything below this great point? Then let us amend our ways, for of what avail will it be at the last great day to have taught and moralized men if they appear before God unsaved? Blood-red will our skirts be if through life we have sought inferior objects, and forgotten that men needed to be saved. Paul knew the ruin of man's natural state, and did not try to educate him, but to save him; he saw men sinking to hell, and did not talk of refining them, but of saving from the wrath to come. To compass their salvation, he gave himself up with untiring zeal to telling abroad the gospel, to warning and beseeching men to be reconciled to God. His prayers were importunate and his labours incessant. To save souls was his consuming passion, his ambition, his calling. He became a servant to all men, toiling for his race, feeling a woe within him if he preached not the gospel. He laid aside his preferences to prevent prejudice; he submitted his will in things indifferent, and if men would but receive the gospel, he raised no questions about forms or ceremonies: the gospel was the one all-important business with him. If he might save some he would be content. This was the crown for which he strove, the sole and sufficient reward of all his labours and self-denials. Dear reader, have you and I lived to win souls at this noble rate? Are we possessed with the same all-absorbing desire? If not, why not? Jesus died for sinners, cannot we live for them? Where is our tenderness? Where our love to Christ, if we seek not His honour in the salvation of men? O that the Lord would saturate us through and through with an undying zeal for the souls of men.
